This thesis focuses on the analysis of the parameter RS difference in intracardiac signals with various type of excitations propagations. Particularly, the excitation propagation of planar waves and ectopic focus are to be analyzed, as well as influence of catheter with various lengths and circular excitations in a three-dimensional heart model. Furthermore, the variations of RS difference in terms of those parameters are to be discussed in this thesis. This project is written in order to discuss how far does RS-difference parameter contribute to detailed diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (AF), and which factors could affect such parameter.
